Religious stupidty: It’s not just Islam! Vatican and Amnesty

Ever since 1850 the number of Christians who attend church has been decreasing in England and West Europe. The number of church attending Christians has decreased, particularly in Britain, to half of what it was since 1979 (coincidentally, year of the Iranian Islamic Revolution). Today just over 6% go to Church on Sundays and this as you can imagine, is made up of a population of average 40 years old or more who have found it difficult to make their children continue the tradition.
Can Christianity really afford more stories about churches covering up sex scandals and narrow mindedness about gender equality?
You wouldn’t think so. But today in a disgraceful act the Vatican has urged all Catholics to stop donating money to Amnesty International, accusing the human rights group of “promoting abortion”.
Amnesty says it does not take any position on whether abortion is right or wrong. But it defended its new position in support of abortion for women when their health is in danger or human rights are violated, especially in cases of rape or incest.
The Church is still trying to be forceful. A lost cause, one may suggest.

THE VATICAN IS STANDING UP FOR ITS MORAL TEACHING. THIS CAN NOT BE PUT SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE MURDERING REGIME IN IRAN. IT IS ILL CHOSEN ANTI-INTELLECTUAL CONNECTIONS LIKE THIS THAT HINDER THE CAUSE OF OVER THROWING THE MULLAHS. IT SHOWS A REMARKABLE IMMATURITY AND IGNORANCE OF THE WORLD OUTSIDE OF IRAN.
IN FACT IT SHOWS THAT THE MULLAHS HAVE WON THEIR BATTLE. THEY HAVE MADE YOU NOT JUST AGAINST THEM BUT MORE IMPORTANT AGAINST THE RELIGIONS OF THE WEST. THIS IS THEIR GREATEST EVIL TURNING PEOPLE OF IRAN AGAINST GOD AND REASON AND COMMON SENSE.

Dear Daniel, it’s not the “religion of the west” that I am against, in fact, I am not against any religion at all. I am against the stupidty in actions that often go together with religions sometimes, it doesn’t matter whether it’s Islam, Christianity, Judaism or any other.
Common sense isn’t telling people who they can donate their money to, based on random accusations like this. This is the childish and stupidty that come with religions that have made humans suffer for hundreds of years. This isn’t common sense, and this isn’t Mullahs winning any battles. Sorry buddy. Next time chill out on the caps.
