Sex In Iran
Apr 28th, 2007 by City boy
While Iranian women are being subjected to the summer hijab crackdown by the Islamic Republic police for not following the strict hejab, Pari Esfandiari, founder of the Irandokht community website has published an interesting article in this month’s Playboy magazine. It centers around the story of the sex video tape that allegedly shows the Iranian soap actress Zahra Amir Ebrahimi having sex with her boyfriend while he records it.
Meanwhile Yesterday the justice minister Gholam Hossein Elham claimed that about 150,000 women have been detained for not following the strict Islamic dress code. BBC has picked up a video of a teenage girl being arrested by the police as part of the crackdown:

Very decent blog. I did look for contact information for you but I’m afraid I didn’t find an e-mail addrss or a private message section. One tiny comment however, I really don’t recommend Arash from the Kamangir blog. He’s another who gets involved in attacking and criticizing Iranian activists (like Fakhravar) rather than report facts about the Mullahs and the misery of the people in Iran.
Thank you for the kind words Banafesh and I agree with your comment about Kamangir although it’s never late for people to learn from their mistakes and wake up from their ignorance.
Also thanks for bringing the email thing to my attention, I just added it to my profile.
Surfed in from a link from another blog and am glad I read the Playboy article. I must be the only Western woman with a copy of Zahra Amir Ebrahimi’s video (I downloaded it from an American site, actually). It IS sexy..it’s so much more artistic than most porn movies made in the US today, and I love the red tint and the shaky camera work. I think it could be a work of modern art, and I believe it is her in the video, although her denial is understandable (how can you kill someone for expressing her feelings for a man she loved?).. Of course, I am dating a Persian guy, so maybe I am biased???
Starlett, killing people for love is sadly a common practice of these Islamic fundamentalists who see woman as a sex that was created just for man’s pleasure and not much else.
These are of course ancient old ideas that have been forgotten in other world religions but not by these sexist, homophobic, fascist Mullahs and their follower thugs at Islamic Republic who are in their final days of rule anyway.
Thanks for your comment and all the best with your Persian boyfriend!
